Lou held his hands up, frowning "I just want to know your name.. My name's Lou.."

She shrugged, "Don't care. Not like I'll see you again." She turned to leave again.

Lou grabbed her hand, "And why not? It's safer to be in a group.."

She tore her hand away with a growl, "Who's to say I'm not?"

Lou raised an eyebrow. "You don't have shoes, no offense but your hair is a mess and you look like you haven't eaten in weeks. If you are in a group, it isn't a very good one. Come with me and Georgia. We have food and clothing."

"Pfft. Wrong wrong wrong." she sing-songed, pacing over to the vines.

Lou sighed, grabbing her around the waist and pulling her away from the vines. "You were the one with the bones and metal bits right? You want them back?"

She pulled a rusty cutthroat razor from her pocket, pressing it to his throat and narrowing her eyes.

Lou paled trying to twist his neck away from the razor. "I was just trying to help!" Georgia peeked around the corner, aiming a crossbow. "D-drop it! I'll shoot! I'm warning you!"

She hissed, "He started it!"

Lou bit his lip, breathing shallowly as he felt the blade cut into his flesh slightly. Georgia shot the bow... "I t-told you to drop it!"

She twisted, pulling Lou in front of her, and dipped her head behind his shoulder.

Lou cried out as the makeshift arrow pierced his shoulder. He stared in shock at the arrow protruding from his shoulder, before his rolled back into his head and he slumped. Georgia swore, reloading the cross bow. "How c-could y-you?

"I didn't come for trouble. He wouldn't leave me be and now you've shot him." She supported his weight, making sure she was fully covered by his body.

Georgia scowled "Its your fault! You used him as a shield!" Lou moaned in pain, his eyes fluttering open as blood stained his shirt.

She shrugged, "Wouldn't have had to if you hadn't started waving nothing around."

Lou's head fell back, his cheek brushing up against tangled black hair. Georgia bit her lip, she knew she couldnt carry him back to the safe house on her own. "I-I'm sorry.. Please... I can't get him back on my own.."

"Not my problem. Muties look out for themselves and humans look out for each other. Just like always." She watched the spreading blood with something akin to fascination.

Lou shuddered, blood dripping on the ground to form a puddle. Georgia stepped closer. " You can't condemn someone to die. You came back to cut him down."

"I didn't come back for nothing. He followed me and started making with the grabby hands. I don't want none of that. Besides, I seen worse injuries in my time. Haven't you? He's not dying any time soon."

Georgia shook her head. "There's poison on the tips! I have to get him home! Please!" her eyes filled with tears and she sniffled. Lou groaned, shivering slightly.

She chuckled, "And you woulda shot me for nothing! Rather he dies than me. Here." She shoved Lou towards her, "You both should die for the trouble you've made for me."

Lou stumbled and hit the ground, the arrow getting shoved deeper. Georgia ran towards him, dropping the crossbow. "I told you you to drop the weapon! Just help me get him back! You can have anything you want! Anything! Weapons, clothes, food, anything you want!" Georgia ripped the arrow out of the wound and blood splurtted up, splattering her and the mutie.

She looked disdainful, "Shouldn't pull it out, human. It was keeping the blood in." She thrust her hands into her pockets, "He can still walk. Tell him to get a grip."

Georgia poked him worriedly. "Lou..? Stand up.." she tugged him up, blood running down his chest and arm, his eyes glazed over slightly.
