Lou stepped forwards, hiding his knife in the pocket of his jacket. "Hello..?"

She glared down at the meddlesome human who had returned and bared her fangs at him silently.

Lou frowned, nudging the slimy red mutant with his foot. "Hello? I won't hurt you.." He glanced around, seeing the bus and walking up to it. "The hell is that thing.." He muttered, backing up rapidly when a few rats ran past him. He bit his lip, looking back at the dead mutant.

She narrowed her eyes, hoping he would leave soon so she could go back inside.

Lou backed up more then ran off, spooked slightly by the dead mutant.

She gave a thin smile and vanished into her den, hoping she wouldn't have to see the human again.v

Lou wandered around, wondering who killed the mutant..

She walked up the wall of the bus to the "ceiling" and sat in one of the upside down chairs, her hair nearly brushing the "floor" as she used a rough scrap of metal to file her horns.

Lou swore, remembering he was supposed to be gathering supplies. "Shit!"

She sneezed as orange horn-dust went up her nose.

Lou set a trap with some pieces of meat as he waited. He awoke with a start to the sound of frantic squeaking and grinned, picking the rats up and stuffing them in a bag he raced home. "Georgia! I got us more meat!" Georgia opened an eye sleepily. "Wonderful. Go cook them or something."

She brushed herself clean and ventured outside, pulling her tattered hood up to block out the sun.

Lou sighed and went into a small circular room to cook the meat, cleaning the skin and hanging it to dry.

She didn't stay out in the open for long, vaulting through a hole in a wall and scampering down flights of stairs until she was in a damp tunnel system.

Lou grabbed a chipped plate and put the meat on it,taking it to Georgia and setting it next to her. "Hey, foods ready.."

She walked up the tunnel wall to the ceiling, knowing this would give her an advantage over the muties who stuck to the ground. Hands firmly gripping her weapon, she kept moving through the tunnels.

Georgia devoured the rat meat, grease coating her lips and fingers as Lou laughed and ruffled her hair.

She paused, crouched, scented the air. Something was fast approaching, bringing with it rasping breath and the stench of rot.

Lou grabbed an old brush and started to brush the tangles from her hair, his own wavy black hair falling in his face.

She internally sighed as a rust-beast came lumbering down the tunnel, grunting as it went. She waited until it had passed before moving on.

Georgia scowled at Lou, she hated having her hair brushed. "Bastard." Lou laughed and kissed her cheek "You know you love me really!"

She dropped to the floor as the tunnel ended abruptly. Hauling aside a mouldy tarpaulin to reveal a hole in the ground, she dropped through and landed in a room hewn from the rock and soil.

Lou braided her hair and tied it with a ribbon, before dodging the punch she threw at him.

The room was lit by a brazier and she moved towards the warm glow. Around the brazier were several... "people", all staring into the hot embers.

Lou scowled at her, picking the plate up and taking it into the makeshift kitchen to clean it.
