She smashed the rock down again and again, trying to hit anywhere she could.

Lou fell limp, still biting into her neck, one hand cupping her face.

She hastily scrambled out from underneath him, lashing out and kicking him in the side.

Lou didn't react, face down, covered in blood and not breathing.

She tried to get as much blood off as possible before she gathered up her belongings and walked away.

Lou coughed up blood, opening his eyes and closing them imediently from the cannon ball of pain he was hit with.

She walked until she reached a once-white building that was half-sunken into the ground. There, she crawled in through a hole in the roof.

Lou crawled forwards, eyes closed and still coughing up blood. He crawled into a car and collapsed again.

Once inside the building, she struggled across the slanted room to reach the stairs.

Lou passed out, only his legs visible.

She took the stairs two at a time, rushing down a corridor and bursting into a room. Looking around frantically, she moved around crates and boxes full of random crap, but to no avail.

"Horusk?" She called tentatively, lifting a blanket and looking underneath. She sighed- there was nothing beneath the blanket.

She overturned a table in frustration, fangs bared. "Horusk! I don't need your lies now!"

A blonde girl was watching Lou from a roof, her fringe cut sloppily, pigtails waving in the breeze. Her faded orange shirt was tattered, just like the rest of her outft and she clutched a messenger bag close to her chest. Rubbing a scar that ran across her face, her one brown eye staring at the legs poking out from the car, the white eye staring into space.

She threw a chunk of metal across the room and stalked out, fists clenched at her sides.

The blonde girl threw a rock at the legs, watching to see if they moved.

Lou felt something hit his leg and mumbled, his vision blurry.

She went into the room next door, dropping her stuff in an empty trash-catcher and sitting on an overturned table.

The blonde girl scurried down to help who ever the legs belonged to.

Lou groaned as he felt someone pull him out of the car and help him stand up. "Shh.." he heard someone whisper. He didn't know how long they walked before he was gently pushed onto an old couch and his shirt pulled off.

The blonde girl began to clean the mans wounds, scrubbing the blood and dirt away.

She reached behind her and pulled up a musty blanket, wrapping it around her shoulders. Tucking her knees up to her chest, she rested her forehead against her knees and closed her eyes.

The blonde girl bandaged the mans wounds and covered him with a blanket, going to wash as much blood out of his shirt as she could.

Lou tried to focus his eyes, only seeing a blurry figure bending over him and striking his forehead before he passed out again.

She dipped in and out of consciousness, the adrenaline leaving her system to be replaced by heavy fatigue.

The blonde girl pinned the shirt to a string running across the room and went to watch the man sleep.

All Lou dreamt about were yellow eyes, soft lips and blood.

Her body became loose, limp, and she sprawled on the floor, sleeping soundly. If she had been awake, or perhaps an observer, she'd know that the sleep could stretch on for days if left uninterrupted- like many mutants, she took to hibernating after periods of great mental or physical stress.
