Marlick drummed his fingers impatiently, wishing he'd asked her who her stalker was before she'd fallen asleep.

Blondie snuggled into Lou, glad she had a warm
Body beside her. Lou mumbled something as he woke
Up. "Wuh?" Blondie patted his head, laughing

Marlick stood up with a heavy sigh and left the room, making his way through the building.

Lou stretched, rubbing his eyes as Blondie handed him his shirt and a jacket. "I'm going to go out, I'll be back! Don't leave, k?" She beamed, grabbing an oversized brown jacket and pulling the hood up before darting out the door, leaving a confused Lou behind.

Marlick clambered out of the hole in the roof and looked around, brushing a cobweb from his shoulder plate.

Blondie ran out into the ran, jumping into puddles and laughing. She twirled around, tilting her face up to the sky.

Marlick swung his weapon experimentally, the huge hammer clasped tightly in his hands.

Blondie blinked, thinking she saw someone through the rain. "Hello?!" She danced closer, squinting and trying to see if it was a person. "Hello?"

Marlick heard a voice and moved towards it.

Blondie, bit her lip. "Hello? Is anyone there?" She shifted from foot to foot, walking forwards.

Marlick readied his hammer, wary of the possible stalker lurking out there, "Show yourself!"

Blondie held her hands up, lowering her hood and stepping towards the hulking figure. "Um.. Hi?"

"Go home to your mommy, kid," Marlick said gruffly, "This area is for grownups."

Blondie scowled, unzipping her jacket to show her figure. "I am not a child. And my 'mommy's' been dead for years" she snapped, stepping closer. "I've been living around here for years anyway. I've never seen you before though.." She trailed off, eyeing him and liking what she saw.

"Good. If I was seen all the damn time, I'd be out of a job." Marlick hefted his hammer as he spoke.

Blondie rolled her eyes. "Oh put it down. Honestly, every time I try to hit on someone they raise a weapon." She grumbled, reaching up to pat his face. "I'm unarmed. I can't hurt you."

"I'm working." Marlick snapped, swatting her hand away with his own huge hand, "The client's safety comes first."

Blondie pouted "Aww.. Who's the 'client'? Hmm?" She rubbed her hand, wincing slightly. "You didn't have to hit to hard.." She mumbled, poking his hammer.

Marlick raised the hammer warningly, "This conversation is over, kid."

Blondie stood her ground. "You wouldn't hurt an unarmed girl, now would you? And don't call me kid damn it!" She crossed her arms over her chest, shivering in the rain.

"It's the apocalypse, girlie. Shit happens."

"Yeah, and you really need to get laid." She hissed, kicking him in the knee. "And my name is Blondie." She started to walk off, pulling her hood back up. "Uptight freak.."

Marlick watched her leave, making sure she was gone before he sat on a breezeblock.

Blonde slammed the door when she got home, startling Lou. "Uh.. Blondie?" Blondie threw a tin can at him. "Oh shut up!" Lou nodded and backed off, staring out the window.

Marlick surveyed the city, watching a couple of mutants fighting for a rotting carcass.
